Here Comes The Rain...

I love the rain! (Well, occasionally.) I cannot think of a better way to spend a rainy afternoon than to curl up with a warm cat, a few yummy cookies, and a chick flick. ("The Devil Wears Prada" - an oldie but I love Meryl Streep in this film.)  

Then off to unleash some dreams on canvas. I dug out my coloured pencils for these pieces. Alice In  Wonderland, Little Red Riding Hood, and white bunnies seem to frequently invade my work.  

Spring is in the air! I can't believe Easter is just around the corner. Inspiration is all around me...

Some thoughts inspired by Haiku this morning. Unfortunetly I did not notice the orange fur until a coworker offered a lint brush. And I was a big jealous as I left for work. And there was a gift on the carpet when I got home - mice bits or Friskies??? .....undetermined.

Welcome and thanks for stopping by! My name is Jen. My whimsical paintings reflect my many loves….cats, poetry, smiles, sea foam green, fairytales, mixed media, rainy days, cookies, daydreams….most importantly, creating and sharing my art!
